In the morning ‘Ashtadravya Ganapati Homam’ is performed. In the evenings bhajans, ‘Ramayan Parayanam’, etc. are held for 31 days.
In the month of ‘Chingam’ the rituals of ‘Nira’ and ‘Puthari’ are performed. During ‘Ashtami Rohini’ day the members of ‘Balagokulam’ perform the ‘Sri Krishna Jayanthi’ celebration. On ‘Vinayaka Chathurthi’ ‘Ganapthi Homam’ is performed (101 coconuts are used).

In ‘Kanni Maasam’, in connection with ‘NavaRathri’ celebrations the ‘Vidyaarambham’ ceremony is performed at ‘Saraswati Mandapam’ (Mahaanavami – Vijayadashami). People from different religion/castes take part in it.

In the ‘Vrishchika Maasam’ the ‘Mandalakaala Utsavam’ begins in the ‘Sri Dharma Saastha Temple’. From the 1st day of this month, for 41 days, ‘Deeparadhana’, ‘Niramaala-Vilakku Veypu’, bhajans, etc. are performed as ‘Vazhipaadu’. On ‘MakaraVilakku Day’ ‘Deepakkazhcha’, ‘Deepalankaaram’ are performed.
